If you would like an individually-prepared Quotation, please fax, telephone, email or write to us: |

Whether for groups, businesses or individuals, our pricing structure for escorted tours is simple: fee + costs. Written Quotations are easy to provide - please send us an email or fax.
Note that the U.S. $ & Euro figures given are for guidance only - they are calculated at our current exchange rates of £1/$2.05 and £1/Euro 1.35, and subject to 'rounding' (we reserve the right to alter our rates if there are significant exchange rate fluctuations; on average we have adjusted our rates approximately twice per year).
We take payments in cheques in £ (off a UK bank), US $, or Euro from a French, Dutch, Belgian or German bank (we have a Credit Agricole account in Caen). We take bank transfers too. We do not take credit cards.
Professional Fee ...
This covers all guiding, provision of information, advice both before and during the day on itineraries/accommodation/sights, and (where used) use of our Citroën C8 or rental car for travel. For local travel (e.g. Canterbury to Dover) all petrol and car parking costs are included; for longer-distance travel petrol costs will be incurred - see Costs below. Not covered: cost of any meals or refreshments.
Whole day (up to 12 hours) from £ 240 $ 495, € 325
Half-day from £ 125 $ 260, € 170
90-minute Tour £ 60 $ 125, € 85 for up to 18 people. With over 18 people, we charge £3.50 per head for everyone
... plus Costs:
For a 90-minute personally-guided Tour of Canterbury there are no extra costs.
Note: our Canterbury Tour covers the city itself, ending up at the Cathedral: the Cathedral charges an entry fee (adults £6.00) and for its Tour (£4.50) - only the Cathedral's own staff are entitled to guide inside the Cathedral. On our Tour you will hear all about the history and architecture of the Cathedral, but the Tour does not (can not) go into the Cathedral itself.
For half- or whole-day Tours, costs are limited to petrol (charged only if the journey is more than local - i.e. return trip to Dover - currently 30p/mile), the cost of entry into sites to be visited (from £4 to £10 per person depending on the property: details on request), and - for France & Belgium - the Eurotunnel day return cost for the Channel Tunnel. For Groups, substitute coach costs for petrol. The key to all this is to ASK US FOR A QUOTATION - no obligation, no hassle !
